For the enterprising among you, I would invite you to join Professor Elayne E. Greenberg and me on a virtual trip to Florence next week for a program we will present to the Italian National Association of Lawyer-Mediators with the support of the University of Florence Law School.
In this Zoom based program, to be held May 21st, from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET (late afternoon in Rome), entitled, Examining Ethics and Effectiveness in Business Mediations with Third-Party Funding or Varyingly Engaged Principals, Professor Greenberg will present “Hey Big Spender: Ethical Guidelines for Dispute Resolution Professionals when Parties are Backed by Third-Party Funders” and I will be presenting a piece drawing upon insights from Martin Buber’s I and Thou, entitled: Encountering the Decision Maker in Business Mediation – Recognizing the Power of Relationship and Decisional Creativity through Engagement of Principals.
It would be great if we could show up together in beautiful Florence. A flyer, with the sign-up link, is posted below.
