We completed our Part 146 approved, 3-day Commercial Mediation training. It was a delight and honor spending time with our participants and guests.

Thank you to New York State Bar Association
We would like to thank the New York State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section and its Chair William Crosby; and all those on NYSBA's staff, Mercedes Peno, Continuing Legal Education Program Manager; @Melva Bigger, Program Coordinator; Pat Stockli, Senior Director of Membership Development; Kathy Suchocki, Associate Executive Director of NYSBA, and the entire New York State Bar Association team.

    Thank you to Our Facilitators:
Every year we hear from program participants that the role plays and facilitators' feedback during panel discussions were perhaps their favorite part of this experience, and this year is no exception. We cannot sufficiently thank the highly experienced mediators Richard Janvey, Krista Gottlieb, John Libby, Genesis Fisher, Esq., Gary Shaffer, Tom Wiegand, Alan Sacks, Chris Fladgate, Deborah Masucci, and Evan Spelfogel who shared their time and insight with us for each of our three major role plays.

Thank you to the Court, et al.:
We would like to thank Hon. Joseph E. Lamendola Joe Lamendola, Co-Chair of the Chief Judge's ADR Advisory Committee, and Commercial Division Judge, in Syracuse, for delivering our program's kick-off remarks, and challenging us with the question of what is needed to draw parties to mediation and generate confidence in the panel and process. We are grateful for the longstanding support of Albert M. Levi, ADR Coordinator of Civil Division in Bronx County for his comprehensive description of ADR activities and opportunities in his Court and statewide.

    Special Thanks:
Special thanks must go to Ia Kurkhuli and Ryder Fleming-Jones of Resolve Mediation Services, Inc., who worked hard to make this happen. We are eternally grateful to our Program Co-Chair Evan Spelfogel, for contributing his insights and experience, and for his willingness to jump into the roleplays as a last-minute fill-in.
