Mr. Baum will be participating in a program organized by the New York State Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Section: with insights into various dimensions of “virtual lawyering.”
Distinguished panelists will discuss the developing norms surrounding these practices, offer insights into what benefits can be leveraged from a virtual platform, and warn of potential pitfalls.
In addition to segments on online arbitration, depositions, cyber insurance, cybersecurity, and law firm practices, there is a segment – from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Virtual Mediation, in which Mr. Baum will chat with litigator, Jim Wicks, of Farrell Fritz on these themes.
