The Mediation Workshop: Moscow Chamber of Commerce with the Cooperation of the United States Embassy & Department of Justice
As guests of the U.S. State Department and Department of Justice, Mr. Baum traveled with Judge Robert Levy of the EDNY to Moscow to participate in a conference of 150 lawyers and judges from across the former Soviet Union, focusing on Commercial Mediation in Russia. Following the conference, Mr. Baum and Judge Levy presented a master class on commercial mediation to 30 participants. Mr. Baum also met with members of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and one or more members of the Duma to discuss a bill that was before the Duma to introduce mediation to Russia.
