30th Year Celebration of United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York Mediation Panel
Dear Colleagues and Friends:
Kudos to Danielle Shalov for having created the October 17th celebration for the 30th Anniversary of the Mediation Panel for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. It was a tremendous event, which included remarks by Chief Judge Margo K. Brodie and Clerk of Court Brenna B. Mahoney, with a final interview by Hon. Robert Levy of Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Congratulations to Jerry Lepp, who served for 20 years as the Court's first ADR Coordinator, and to Robyn Weinstein, who followed him, enriching the panel and enhancing the ADR offerings with related programs, both of whom were especially honored.
I am grateful to have been included in the excellent video, "Thirty Years of ADR: A Purposeful Path," produced by Ms. Shalov and folks from the Second Circuit, which kicked off this event. The following interview was conducted by Danielle Shalov with me in preparation for a short film on the 30-year history of the EDNY Court's Dispute Resolution program.
