Surprise Award - New York State Bar Association, Dispute Resolution Section, Executive Committee Meeting
Dear Colleagues and Friends:
I was surprised, honored and delighted to participate in last week's meeting of the Executive Committee of NYSBA's Dispute Resolution Section, where we anticipated honoring our longstanding member, Evan Spelfogel, for his service from the time the Section was formed, through his term as Secretary, as well as Leslie Berkoff for her creativity and generosity in developing and regularly laboring on our Mediation Tournament, only to find that -- after presentation of these awards -- Section Chair, Noah Hanft presented to me the below plaque in recognition of my having served as founding Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section, and having had the audacity not yet to disappear.
